1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Valid, current NMC or SMC registration verifiable at www.nmc.org.in.
- Good standing — no pending suspension or deregistration.
- Minimum MBBS qualification recognised by NMC, or recognised AYUSH qualification.
- Functional device and internet connection for teleconsultation.
- Professional indemnity insurance: STRONGLY RECOMMENDED per Guideline 15, Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020. Not a hard mandatory requirement. Required only for 'Verified & Insured' badge designation.

3. VERIFICATION PROCESS
NMC/SMC registration verified against NMR within 5 working days of complete application receipt. Approval or rejection communicated by email. Annual re-verification of all active Practitioners conducted. False credential submission results in immediate permanent deactivation.
4. LISTING PROTOCOL
Doctor listing on the OPLive Application is governed by OPLive's merit-based relevance algorithm considering: User ratings and feedback, appointment availability, response rate, compliance status, and specialisation match. Listing order is NOT solely determined by OPLive management. OPLive is not liable for changes in listing position resulting from algorithm updates or User feedback.
5. DOCTOR CONSENT DECLARATIONS
5.1 Consent to Platform Listing
"I, [Doctor Name — auto-populated], Registration Number [auto-populated], hereby consent to my profile being listed on the OPLIVE Application for the purpose of facilitating patient-doctor connections. I confirm all information provided is accurate and current."
5.2 Consent to Telemedicine Guidelines
"I confirm I have read the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 and undertake to conduct all teleconsultations in accordance with those Guidelines and my professional obligations under the NMC Act 2020 and IMC Regulations."
5.3 Consent to Data Access
"I consent to accessing Patient health data shared with me on the OPLIVE Application solely for the purpose of the specific consultation booked, and acknowledge my patient confidentiality obligations."
5.4 Professional Indemnity Acknowledgement
"I acknowledge OPLive's recommendation that Practitioners maintain professional indemnity cover inclusive of telemedicine, as advised by Guideline 15 of the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020."
5.5 Continuing Obligations
- I will maintain valid NMC/SMC registration and inform OPLive immediately of any change.
- I will complete OPLive's annual re-verification process.
- I understand that failure to comply with onboarding obligations may result in suspension of my listing.
6. ANNUAL RE-VERIFICATION
Annual re-verification conducted for all active Practitioners. Documents must be submitted at least 30 days before the anniversary of onboarding. Failure to re-verify results in automatic suspension pending completion.
